Hello and welcome!
Well, we have had a busy summer!
I am delighted to be announcing the re- launch of Jasmine White London. First of all introducing a new handpainted, colourful enamelware range for the home. A soft launch at the Wimbledon Village Fair in the summer where mugs, jugs and trays flew off the stall proved its popularity! I then took it to the trade at Top Drawer London a couple of weeks ago where the collection received a lot of positive response from retailers and independent shops. I have included some of my own floral design patterns onto the enamelware, the posy and the small flowers but also incorporating the traditional ‘floral splash’ so familiar to the Kashmir region where they are hand painted. It is time for colour in our homes and I hope this collection will inspire many of you to adopt this philosophy!
My new textile ranges for the kitchen and home have been great fun to develop. First up is the ‘Indian Street’ collection also being referred to as the ‘Horn range’. It is my attempt to capture the sights, sounds and life on India’s Streets, not to forget the noise!
Inspiration came from my small children for ‘Leaping Reindeer’.Their excitement waiting for Santa on Christmas Eve, the reindeer racing around to take Santa to all the houses before the children wake up!
Finally, the traditional Kashmiri handpainted papier mache items are harbingers of the season, and we are delighted to bring these to you. Christmas decorations each hand painted and beautifully decorated.
I will be introducing and bringing new items as we go along, so keep your eyes peeled!
